Vail
When you visit the Vail Colorado ski resort, you're never far from fun. Featuring top-rated skiing and snowboarding in winter and rafting, golfing, hiking and biking in summer, Vail is one of the world's most exciting recreational destinations.
|
Winter Activities
The largest ski resort in the United States. The most groomed terrain in the world. Seven back bowls. Four terrain parks. 300 days of sunshine every year. These add up to just a few of the reasons why Vail is consistently rated the #1 ski resort in the United States by SKI magazine.

Skiing and Snowboarding
Skiers and snowboarders love to stay at Vail Cascade. One big reason for this is that Vail Cascade is the only true ski-in, ski-out resort in Vail. They have their very own private, quad chairlift - Chair #20 - just outside the doors. Being west of Lionshead in Cascade Village, they're also a bit more remote. This offers skiers the advantage of seclusion — but, with a complimentary shuttle running between the nearby village and the resort every 20 minutes, you're never far from the action.

Summer Fun
When the snow melts, a whole other world of activities opens up in Vail. This alpine wonderland features sunny, 80-degree days just right for mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing and rafting. And then there's golfing with 13 championship courses, including two designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Vail also hosts concerts, cultural and arts events, and even rodeos.
|
Adventure
When you visit Vail Cascade during the summer, take a walk or bike ride along the scenic, paved trail located behind the resort alongside Gore Creek. If you follow the trail east, it will take you to Vail and Lionshead Villages, the Vail Golf Course and even over Vail Pass to Summit County. Taken west, the path leads to several parks with playgrounds and picnic facilities.

Racquet Sports
It's no wonder Vail Cascade has been voted one of the Top 50 Tennis Resorts in North America by Tennis Magazine. Featuring Vail's only indoor tennis courts, Aria Spa & Club's year round tennis program offers private and group lessons from world-renowned tennis pros.
Add to this racquetball and squash facilities, and you'll see why the resort rates among the best in the world.
