Decorations
Flowers and large rental items may be delivered to the hotel two hours prior to your function. Smaller items, place cards and favors may be brought to your Conference Service Manager at an agreed upon time. The staff will be happy to assist in the placement of these items. Arrangement for floral presentations or special props may be purchased or rented through your Conference Service Manager. Prices may vary depending upon selection chosen. Please Note: Personal items and decorations should be removed at the conclusion of your event. Items not removed after the event will be charged a storage fee of $500 per day.
Ice Carvings
Tenaya Lodge culinary staff can create ice sculptures and ice carvings for every event. Arrangements can be made through your Conference Service Manager. The fees vary depending upon selection chosen and difficulty of design.
Photography
Photographs may be taken in any of the public areas around Tenaya Lodge. Tenaya Lodge does not allow backdrops, photographic umbrellas or loose electrical cords in any of the indoor public areas of the hotel. Public areas must remain open and free of obstacles for the other hotel guests. Please ask your Conference Service Manager for advice on the many beautiful photographic opportunities.
Music
Acoustic background music is welcome to be played in the Pavilion for limited hours only on the backlawn. Please ask your Conference Service Manager about special considerations and exceptions. A disc jockey or live music can be played until 12:00am within the ballroom and banquet rooms. In consideration of other hotel guests, all music will be controlled at the discretion of hotel management.
Guest Rooms
Once you have confirmed the dates of the wedding, a letter of agreement will be generated between the Executive Meeting Manager and the wedding party. The letter of agreement stipulates the room rate and ensures that the wedding guests are guaranteed to receive that rate up to 30 days prior to arrival. After that date, reservations can be made for the current room rate at that time.
