Sightseeing
Sugar Beach staff members are friendly, helpful and courteous, and happy to help guests in their planning and arrangements for off-site activities. Car rentals, island tours, snorkeling and kayaking arrangements are only part of the venues that the front desk staff handles for guests.

Swimming
Sugar Beach boasts one of the most beautiful swimming pools on the island of St Croix. Five alcoves around the pool perimeter, have individual tables and benches built into the pool, so that guests can snack, play games, or read, without getting things wet, while soaking in the crystal clear, warm water. The pool area also has a large shaded area for those seeking refuge from the sun, and is adjoined by an historic landmark sugar mill from the 1700s, perfect for photo opportunities.

Club Room
Opposite the pool, is the Sugar Beach Club Room, in beautiful Caribbean decor, and the catering kitchen. Besides providing the venue for the complimentary barbecues, these spaces are used to host groups, small conferences, and guest programs. The clubroom also houses the free e-mail and internet access, as well as a lending/trading library for guest use.

Beach Activities
The 500-foot palm-lined, white-sand beach can be accessed directly from the balconies of all first-floor units. Hammocks and chaise lounges lay in wait for guests who wish to enjoy the sound of the water, as it gently caresses the shoreline. Snorkeling opportunities rest just yards off the shore, as well as down the beach, where a large artificial reef houses more than 40 species of marine life, in only six to eight-foot waters. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent at the Sugar Beach front desk.

Tennis
Two lighted tennis courts, in perfect condition, greet guests who enjoy the game, while an extensive grassed area is suitable for soccer or other games.
