Love Beach Bungalows

There are only three bungalows. Their more than ample space provides for two generous bedrooms, each with master bath – and a large living room and a complete vacation kitchen. The furnishings represent many fine samples of exclusive Bahamian and Caribbean (and from beyond) vacation style.

Three Atlantic facing terraces, all shaded, accommodate each building’s outside presences, and one rear-facing patio permits “out of the breeze” grilling and late-evening enjoyment.

Bungalow Interior

Staff takes care of your bungalow as though you were in a hotel, as your on-site hosts Enola and Omar quietly and efficiently assure smooth functioning – and help you with any detail of your vacation fun and necessities.

Each bungalow has its own Sport Utility Vehicle. Lush gardens surround the pool and buildings, phasing over into robust Bahamian bush in the surrounding hills. Bungalow occupants have free court privileges at the nearby SSI Island Tennis Club.

Just a short ride away, you are here: The Stella Maris Resort Club and its Marina. Providing great accommodations, good food, ‘Out-Island-Style’ entertainment and complete sun and sea activities. Drop in, ask for their services… or occasionally just join some evening fun.

When you drop your bags at your Love Beach Bungalow, take a deep sigh. Do nothing at all at first except look around, take in the beach, the ocean, the pool, nature. Just be here. Enjoy. And later on, at your leisure, you can start exploring unspoiled Long Island, snorkel and fish, dive and kayak … to your heart’s content.

All are very pleasantly/tropically furnished. Distance from the Clubhouse 100 to maximum 600 meters, right at the Atlantic Shore.

• One saltwater 18’ deep pool at marina for scuba lessons.
• Tennis clubhouse (separately owned/operated) with Jacuzzi, two artificial surface (similar to clay) courts, lit for night play.

Vacation Rentals

The self-cater program is designed for those visitors looking for a week or longer residence on Long Island. With this program, you enjoy Long Island living at your own pace. Soak up the sun on one of the renowned beaches of Long Island, explore quaint settlements, rejuvenate and relax - knowing that full resort activities and amenities are available should you choose to hire them.

Hotel services and activities are limited to the following for self-catered guests: Daily towel exchange and twice weekly bed linen provision (beach towels on demand). Use of Stella Maris Estate's swimming pools and all Stella Maris beaches.

Every bedroom of all accommodations have individual air-conditioner wall units.

One-Bedroom Cottages: Suitable for One or Two Persons
Jasmine, Jacaranda, Frangipani: One-bedroom/one-bath townhouses located on the hillside below the clubhouse with a view to Exuma Sound. Townhouses have a small kitchen and living room downstairs. Bedroom and bath are upstairs. All rooms have ceiling fans. Beds: One queen.

Two-Bedroom Bungalow, Townhouse or Villa: Suitable for Two to Four Persons

Edith's Harbour: A two-bedroom/two-bath bungalow located on the Atlantic coast, a two-minute walk to the clubhouse. Edith's has a large living room with ceiling fans, lower balcony, two large bedrooms left and right, each with large bath; full kitchen, garden gazebo. Atlantic beaches from 200 yards. Beds: One king, and two double.

Hill House: A Two-bedroom/two-bath townhouse located on the hillside below the clubhouse with a view to Exuma Sound. There is a small kitchen and living room downstairs, bedroom and bath upstairs. A separate wing with own entrance has second bedroom and bath. Beds: One queen, one double, and one twin.

Ocean Villas: Two-bedroom/two-bath villas located right on the Atlantic shore, a ten-minute walk to clubhouse. Villas have large front and rear balconies, small Atlantic beach within 200 yards. Villas are two stories with living room/kitchen with ceiling fan upstairs, two small bedrooms with separate baths downstairs. Beds: One queen and two twins.

Two-Bedroom Bungalow: Suitable for Four to Six Persons

Always Sunday: A three-bedroom/three-bath bungalow located at a pretty small Atlantic beach, a seven-minute walk to the clubhouse. Large air-conditioned living room with shaded breezeway left and right, good sized kitchen, full bungalow length balcony oceanside. Beds: Three queens.

Gecko: A three-bedroom/three-bath bungalow located right at the Atlantic shore, a three-minute walk to the clubhouse. Gecko has two large bedrooms and baths plus a bedroom with bath upstairs, large living room with ceiling fans, medium sized kitchen, large oceanside roofed porch, open sun deck, and rear patio with grill. Beds: One queen, two doubles, and two twins.

Three-Bedroom Bungalow with Pool: Suitable for Four to Six Persons

Rainbow House: A three-bedroom/three-bath bungalow located right at the Atlantic shore, a three-minute walk to the clubhouse. Large living room with good sized kitchen/bar with ceiling fans, very large, partially roofed Atlantic-side terrace extending from living room, two large bedrooms and baths on living room level. Third bedroom with ceiling fan and small fridge at lower level is a very large studio with spacious bath opening to large terrace with large saltwater swimming pool, cabana bar, gazebo, and small/artificial beach. Beds: One king, two queens, and two doubles.

Four-Bedroom Bungalow: Suitable for Six to Eight Persons

Flamingo House: A four-bedroom/two-bath bungalow located right next to the hotel's oceanside swimming pool and beach cove, right at the Atlantic shore, a one-minute walk to the clubhouse. Flamingo has ceiling fans in the large living/dining room with bar, four bedrooms sharing two baths, full kitchen, two terraces, and shaded porch. Fourth bedroom is a large studio with wet bar facing the ocean. Beds: One king, one queen, two doubles, and two twins.

Four-Bedroom Bungalow with Pool: Suitable for Six to Eight Persons

Dolphin House: A four-bedroom/two-bath bungalow located right at the Atlantic shore, a one-minute walk to the clubhouse. Large living/dining room with ceiling fans, full kitchen, four bedrooms sharing two baths, large freshwater pool with terrace. Beds: One king, one queen, two doubles, and two twins.
