Description
Experience Outdoor Pure Mineral Water Hot Pools Nestled 12 miles within the heart of the Olympic National Park, just one hour east of Port Angeles and two and a half hours from Seattle, the weary traveler will discover the comforts of Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. Spending the day at Sol Duc can be a unique, relaxing, and enriching experience.
Melt away tension in pure mineral water hot pools while being surrounded by forested peaks and the babbling Sol Duc River. After lunch at the outdoor Deli Cafe, take a short hike through majestic primeval old growth rainforest to the pounding rhythm of Sol Duc Falls. Don't forget to schedule a rejuvenating massage for when you return from the hike. Professional massage therapists are trained to be attentive to your needs.
Soaking in hot springs, hiking through the woods, and having a massage can produce a healthy appetite. The Springs Restaurant is a casual fine dining establishment which offers a varied menu of healthy, exquisitely prepared foods.
Before moving on, indulge in another dip in the hot springs while the evening hush fills the valley. If you have reserved ahead, you may retire to your RV, cabin, or nearby national park tent site, to slumber through the night while owls hoot and the night breeze rustles through the evergreens.
Sol Duc Hot Springs is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula, making Sol Duc Resort a good base camp as you explore the area. Many people stay three or four days as they visit area attractions like the Hoh Rain Forest, Hurricane Ridge or the resort's neighbor to the north Victoria, Canada.
