ROW Rafting, Canoeing, and Hiking Adventures The possibilities are endless. ROW (River Odysseys West) bases their local operation at the lodge and from May to July offer whitewater rafting on the thunderous Lochsa River. From late June through September gentle float trips aboard rafts, canoes and kayaks are available. On your own you can explore miles of trails for hiking or mountain biking on nearby National Forest Land. Trout fishing is excellent in the Lochsa, Selway and Clearwater Rivers and in the winter steelhead season is popular a few miles downstream. (ROW offers guided fishing trips on the Selway and Clearwater.) The resort is at 1,400 feet elevation and in the winter cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are all available within an hour's drive or less.
Located on the Lewis and Clark Trail it's easy to explore places like "Post Office Rock", "Smoking Place", and "Canoe Camp".
ROW also offers three and six-day Family Adventure Camps in July and August that are all-inclusive with meals and activities.
