Upon your arrival at the San Pedro Airport, you will greeted by one of the resort’s representatives who will escort you to the water taxi for a ten-minute boat ride to this secluded resort.

Unguided Activites Las Terrazas Resort offers numerous activites that can anyone can participant in without the need for a guide. Bicycles, kayaks, canoes and Hobie float cats are available on a first come first serve basis free of charge for all registered guests. Fishing is a popular activity for many guests and some of Belize's best bone fishing can be found within minutes from your Las Terrazas guest townhouse. Belize has literally hundreds of square kilometers of flats and many of the sandy flats can be waded easily.
Las Terrazas is also a popular destination for birdwatching enthusiasts. Belize is home to over 500 species of resident and migratory birds. With varied ecosystems, ranging from coastal mangroves and swamps, to isolated barrier reef cayes, to dense tropical rainforest and clear open savannahs, Belize is a wonderful destination for avid birdwatchers and amateurs alike. The Belize Audubon Society (BAS) is active in managing many of Belize's reserves, and has a number of bird lists and field guides available in the central office in Belize City, as well as at the various visitors centers they operate throughout the country. So don't forget to bring binoculars and your bird guide-book and wear boots, lightweight long-sleeved shirts, and trousers if you plan to go birdwatching in paradise.
Bicycles are perfect for cruising up and down the beach. Head south towards town or go north to check out some of the newer developments on the island.
