Location Rock Harbor Lodge is located in Isle Royale National Park - a secluded island in Northern Michigan accessible only by boat or seaplane. There is ferry boat service from Grand Portage, MN, Houghton, MI, and Copper Harbor, MI.
Meeting Facilities The lodge has a restaurant available for groups to meet for dining and meeting space when the restaurant is closed. There is also an historic lodge with lakeside patio for weddings, reunions, and meetings.
Recreation Isle Royale National Park offers visitors unforgettable hiking trails, bird watching, photography, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, lighthouse tours, and pure enjoyment of the natural beauty of the area.

Description

Experience the northwoods wilderness in remote Isle Royale National Park, an island archipelago located in northwestern Lake Superior. One of the most remote national parks, Isle Royale is accessible only by boat or seaplane. The park is home to moose, wolves, loons, beaver, fox, and other small mammals and birdlife. Lake Superior and the island's inland lakes offer excellent fishing. Diving opportunities to many Lake Superior shipwrecks abound.

Rock Harbor Lodge provides visitors the only accommodations in this unique national park. Located along the shore of Lake Superior, Rock Harbor Lodge has rooms with private bath, housekeeping cottages with kitchens, and services that include full service dining room, the Greenstone Grill, gift shop, dockside store, marina, rental motor boats, kayaks and canoes, guided fishing and sightseeing tours. Water taxi services are available with reservations.

Stay in the comfort of the lodge at night and explore the vast wilderness by day. Explore Passage Island and Rock Harbor Lighthouses via a sightseeing boat, hike to scenic lookout points, or visit the site of an ancient copper mine.
