Fonteverde is located amidst the splendid scenery of the Siena hills, in San Casciano dei Bagni, Val d'Orcia - a vast natural park, crossed by the river Orcia spreading to the south of Siena. The exclusive resort was built in the 17th century by the Grand Duke Ferdinando I de’ Medici amid precious hot springs whose therapeutic properties have been known since ancient times.
