The Main House
With its lovely leaded glass windows, richly burnished woods and luxurious fabrics, the inside of Blantyre is exactly what you would expect upon seeing the outside of the building. In the Main House, there are overstuffed chairs, fresh flowers, a light-filled music room, and rooms for private dining — all designed with guests' comfort in mind. The heart of the house, the baronial Main Hall on the first floor, is an eclectic mix of period pieces and treasured heirlooms. Eight exquisite guest bedrooms and suites, many with fireplaces, all with their own unique personality, are located on the second floor.

The Cottages
For those guests who prefer more private accommodations, the Cottages are located a short walk away from the Main House. There are four private cottages – two are joined together – to choose from, each with a distinct character and its own special ambiance. Perfect as romantic retreats or secluded sanctuaries, all of the rooms reflect the same attention to detail as accommodations in the Main House.

The Carriage House
A brief, brisk country walk – a mere 200 yards from Blantyre's Main House – lies the Carriage House, home to 12 guest rooms with their own special character. Named for some of the Berkshires' well-loved estates and country houses, these rooms include intriguing loft spaces, enchanting hand-painted wall murals, and the fine fabrics and furnishings that have become the hallmark of Blantyre.
On the first floor, through the arched entryway of the Carriage House – its original doors intact on the side – lies a welcoming public sitting area with carved armchairs and a crimson couch.

The Laurel Suite
Located in the Main House, the comfy, queen-size bed of The Laurel Suite sits within a big bay window which has flowing silk curtains and shutters that may be drawn closed when you want extra sleep. In the sitting area, the rosy pink fireplace tiles echo the color of the sisters' dresses in the painting that hangs above the mantle. An overly comfortable sofa and two antique chairs encircle the marble-topped coffee table, a perfect place for late night snacks or early morning newspaper reading. The bathroom has a soaking tub with a glass enclosed, walk-in shower and marble sink.

The Crimson Suite
A favorite of many guests, the Crimson Suite in the Main House is richly decorated in shades of cream beige, crimson and burgundy, with fine damasks and chintz. In the bedroom, a cloud-soft, king-sized bed is perfectly placed in the beautiful bay of windows and flanked by a handsome desk with a wonderful view. In the beautiful but unpredictable Berkshires, there will often be nights when you'll be happy to bask in the warmth of the burgundy tiled fireplace.

The Ice House Cottage
This two-bedroom cottage is grand and yet intimate. In the sitting room upstairs, there is a mahogany dining table and intricately carved 19th century American chairs well suited to private candlelit dinners – with delicious food and fine wine, if you like. A window seat, piled high with pillows, is the perfect place to curl up and catch up on your reading or watch the day descend into dusk. The screened porch is a perfectly private place to share drinks and laughter with friends. Downstairs Alexander's Room includes a bedroom with a king-size bed, shower, stately desk, and a shaded outdoor patio edged in boxwood.
