Horse-drawn carriages, reminiscent of a bygone era, carry guests on a 30-minute ride through Big Cedar's wonderfully landscaped grounds. What a romantic way to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary.

Campfire wagon tours are a special treat. You'll hop aboard an antique hitch wagon and journey down a wooded trail to a rustic campsite. Once there, you can roast marshmallows around the campfire and cool off with an iced sarsaparilla in summer or warm up to a great cup of hot chocolate on cool evenings. A singin' cowboy will warm your heart with good old cowboy songs.

*At Christmastime, the wagon will tour the property to view all the beautiful lights.

Pony Rides
This is the perfect opportunity to fulfill your little one's dream of riding a horse. Ponies are available for kids 10 and under. Walk-ins are welcome, but not guaranteed.

Horseback Rides
Whether it's your first time on horseback or your 100th, you'll enjoy this one-hour guided trip through the woods. Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled time. Riders must be 6 years of age or older. Weight limit is 260 pounds.

Carriage Rides
Hop in and travel back in time during this 30-minute horse-drawn carriage ride around Big Cedar grounds.

Campfire Wagon Tours
This is something you won't want to miss! Ride into nature in an antique hitch wagon! You'll definitely want to bring your camera to capture those priceless smiles around the campfire. When the songs are sung and your sweet tooth satisfied, you will return to the Registration Building to enjoy the rest of the evening. (Available: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - March through October.)

Winter Holiday Lights Tour
A wagon tour of the twinkling holiday lights capped with a roaring bonfire. Make it a family tradition! Available November and December (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday).

Advanced reservations are recommended.

Golf

The spectacular Top of the Rock Golf Course, conveniently located a short drive from the entrance to Big Cedar, offers one of the most unique golfing experiences available - not just in Missouri but in the entire Midwest. Designed to challenge every skill level, this Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, the first Par 3 course to bear his golden name, is also a Certified Audubon International Signature Sanctuary.

Every effort has been made to allow this Missouri golf course to live in harmony with its environment. Top of the Rock is the first golf course in the state of Missouri to achieve designation as an Audubon International Certified Signature Sanctuary and was certified on February 14, 1997. Of 47 acres, 38 percent has been kept in its natural state or planted in native species. Your play wanders through forest-lined fairways and opens onto panoramic vistas. The exhilaration of clear Ozark Mountain air gives your swing an extra lift. Water hazards pose an interesting challenge to your game and create an inviting habitat for wildlife. "The Governor's Treescape Award" for the most environmentally significant development of commercial property was presented to Top of the Rock. They're proud of the recognitions and strive to maintain their responsibilities to them while creating rewarding opportunities for you.

Top of the Rock Pro Shop is fully stocked with the latest in golf and casual apparel. You'll find logo and gift items along with T-shirts and hats. They carry golf bags and other golfing amenities, but you don't have to be a golfer to appreciate the great selection of quality merchandise they have to offer.

Table Rock Lake

When you are ready to fish, it's good to know that Table Rock Lake is ranked nationally for its numbers and sizes of bass and crappie. It's also good to know that the marina's friendly veteran guides can take you to the best spots.

When you're ready to enjoy water sports, you can launch your own boat here and moor it in one of the Marina's 100 covered slips. Or you can rent fully-equipped Tracker bass boats, ski or pontoon boats and canoes by the hour or by the day.

Bent Hook Marina’s full-service, two-story marina has a cut-out section in the floor for fish viewing and feeding. It also has a fish cleaning shack, digital fish scale and the lake's best-supplied tackle and supply shop with items from Bass Pro Shops. It also carries all of your lake essentials such as bait, snacks, clothing, film, sun screen, etc. Professional fishing guides are available for half or full-day trips.

Shopping

The shop features fashion apparel for men, women and juniors. Accessorize your look with belts, handbags and jewelry in the latest looks from your favorite brands. A large variety of logo'd gifts, and casual wear awaits your approval as well.

Stop by in the morning and enjoy the premium coffee bar and muffins. Return later in the day for a wide variety of unique snack foods and cold drinks. Big Cedar's own Blueberry Poppyseed Dressing, Barbeque Sauce, Balsamique Finishing Sauce and Big Cedar Seasonings have acquired fine reputations in culinary circles.

A collection of unique home decor includes lodge, accents, dinnerware and monogramed serving pieces.
