Description

Once you've been to Bearskin, you fall in love with it. It becomes your special vacation place.
Bearskin Lodge is located 26 miles up Minnesota's renowned Gunflint trail on the edge of the BWCA. With its pristine wilderness setting and secluded cabins, Bearskin is the perfect place to enjoy canoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, swimming, fishing, snowshoeing, dog sled rides, and more.

Each of the eleven beautiful log and frame cabins and four townhouse-style lodge units features a fireplace or wood stove, a fully supplied kitchen, and a private dock. To relax, the hot tub house and sauna are available for your private use.

In the summer, activities include canoeing, kayaking (canoes and kayaks available for rent), fishing, and hiking. There is a sand beach for swimming and individual grills for barbecuing.

Snow comes early to Bearskin and stays late, resulting in an extended cross-country ski season. Enjoy 77 kilometers of expertly groomed ski trails, including 1.5 kilometers of lighted trail. Bearskin also offers dog sled rides into the Boundary Waters.

Bearskin lodge is an excellent place to see a variety of wildlife. Moose are a frequent sight, and you may also catch a glimpse of a wolf, lynx, or pine marten.

Reservation Policy

One week minimum stay starting June 13 through August 22, except for Cabin 8 and Lodge 4. Nightly stays will be taken during those times if Bearskin Lode receives late cancellations. A $500 advance deposit with reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Sorry, no refunds within 60 days of arrival. A $30 cancellation fee will be applied to any cancellation.
