Description
Northern Arizona Ponderosa Pines Await Mormon Lake Lodge, situated in the tall pine country of Northern Arizona, is just 30 minutes south of Flagstaff and 2.5 hours north of Phoenix. The quaint Western ambiance of this remote 280-acre retreat is the perfect backdrop for an intimate gathering of family and friends - or a conducive, out-of-the ordinary setting for a corporate team building encounter.
There's everything you'd expect to find in the Old West: cowboys, wide open spaces, buffalo, and even horseback riding, gold panning and music festival/rodeo events in the summertime.
The lodge's famed Steakhouse has been serving up savory open-pit mesquite grilled beef, chicken and fish entrees since 1924. Guests also enjoy the weekend entertainment and camaraderie of the lodge's 1880s-style Saloon during the summer season.
You might even be lucky enough to catch cowboy antics performed in their seasonal Cowboy Dinner Theatre. Stay for a night, a week or a month. You're always welcome at Mormon Lake Lodge, Partner. They have some of the coziest log cabins you'll find anywhere in northern Arizona or - if you prefer to rough it on your own - they have a modern RV Park & Campground with phones, showers and laundry facilities just down the road from the lodge. There's a convenience store right at the lodge where you can purchase grub - or gifts for the folks back home. Yep, they've pretty much thought of everything.
Whether you're a bona fide city slicker yearning for a taste of the "old west", or a full-time buckaroo just needing some time away from the ranch, Mormon Lake Lodge is an ideal hideaway.
